Their large fins make extended travel simple for them and their amphibious lungs allow them to travel above or below the water. Lapras spend all time in water, even sleeping in it. Some Lapras even swim in their sleep. Humans cherish Lapras for their ever present kindness and willingness to help. They freely help people cross rivers and even oceans without asking for anything in return. The musu is especially beloved by sailors for how often they rescue shipwrecked crews as well as those that fall overboard. While having great ability to move in water, Lapras have little ability to defend themselves. This combined with the musu’s trusting nature, makes it rather easy for malicious people to take advantage of Lapras. This is incredibly frowned upon among all human societies as people care deeply for the musu.
